Here’s a fun thing about beauty devices: sometimes you can skip the beauty brand and buy the device from the people who actually make it.
The TLM300PRO and TLM300PRO-L from Shenzhen Idea Light are exactly the kind of find that earns a place in my SK Favorites: premium hardware, clever features, and factory-direct pricing that makes some of the branded retail alternatives look a little silly.
I’m not going to give you a lecture on the benefits of red and near-infrared light therapy here. I’m assuming you have already decided to buy a mask and know why you want one. This is simply about getting a very good device for a very good price.
Meet Shenzhen Idea Light
Shenzhen Idea Light is an actual light-therapy device manufacturer that just so happens to also sell single units to the public through their Alibaba website. They manufacture highly-rated LED panels, masks and other photobiomodulation devices and offer OEM/ODM manufacturing for brands that want to sell those devices under their own names.
That last part is important. When you buy a $500, $800 or $1,000 beauty device, you aren’t necessarily buying $500, $800 or $1,000 worth of hardware. You’re also paying for branding, marketing, domestic inventory, logistics, customer service, fast shipping and a warranty.
Sometimes I’m perfectly happy to pay for those things like most consumers do.
Other times, I’d rather buy the hardware.

There are multiple Alibaba listings for these masks. Some show minimum order quantity as 1, some show 3 pieces. I personally ordered just one.
The TLM300PRO LED Mask
The TLM300PRO is the version I would recommend if you’re looking for a really good LED mask.
It is a 3D molded soft silicone, rechargeable mask with 288 LED chips and three wavelengths:
- 460 nm blue
- 630 nm red
- 850 nm near-infrared
It has adjustable brightness and treatment time, and because it’s battery powered and rechargeable via USB-C, you’re not tethered while you’re wearing it. Even the remote controller is wireless, unlike most other masks.
It is very comfortable to wear. It sits slightly off the skin so the light can reflect for the most complete coverage and it does not get too warm. Bulb coverage is excellent.
Idea Light offers the mask in both black and white.
The mask also has voice control, which sounds slightly ridiculous until you’re actually wearing it and don’t want to fumble around looking for the controller. You can literally say “Hi Mask” and tell it what you want it to do.
Is voice control necessary for effective red light therapy? Absolutely not.
Do I enjoy having it anyway? Absolutely yes.
And Then There’s the TLM300PRO-L Laser Mask
Take all of the features of the LED mask, but let’s give it a twist.
The TLM300PRO-L uses four wavelengths:
- 460 nm blue
- 665 nm red
- 850 nm near-infrared
- 1064 nm near-infrared
Instead of relying entirely on conventional LEDs, the red/NIR system incorporates VCSEL laser diodes, including 1064 nm.
It has 236 light sources, adjustable intensity, 5/10/15-minute treatment settings, two treatment modes, a rechargeable battery, LCD controller and the same wonderfully unnecessary-but-fun voice control.
Which Would I Buy: LED or Laser?
If this is going to be your primary red light device, I’d actually choose the less expensive TLM300PRO LED version.
That may sound backwards. Isn’t laser supposed to be the upgrade? Not necessarily for what I want a face mask to do.
LED light naturally has more beam divergence: the light spreads as it leaves each diode, with neighboring LEDs creating overlapping fields of illumination. Laser light is much more tightly directed and tends to send more of its energy forward into the tissue.
That deeper, more concentrated delivery can absolutely be an advantage when that’s the goal. But for routine facial photobiomodulation, my priority is slightly different: I want broad, even coverage of the skin. For that job, I actually like the light dispersion of a well-designed LED array.
So my recommendation is:
Buying your first or primary face mask? Get the TLM300PRO LED.
Already have a good LED mask and want to experiment with laser PBM and 1064 nm? That’s when I’d choose the TLM300PRO-L. It gives you something genuinely different to experiment with rather than duplicating a device you already own.
The laser isn’t automatically “better.” It’s a different way of delivering the light, and I think the LED version is exceptionally well suited to what most of us are actually trying to accomplish with a face mask.
You May Have Seen This Mask Before
Here’s where my obsession with finding the manufacturers behind beauty devices pays off.
The TLM300PRO-L is the same underlying Idea Light device sold under other brand names.
In other words, Idea Light makes the hardware and brands can private-label it, package it, market it and sell it at retail pricing. That’s normal OEM manufacturing. It happens throughout the beauty-device industry.
What you’re giving up when you buy directly from China isn’t necessarily better hardware. You’re giving up the retail experience. And that distinction matters. A branded US purchase may give you fast domestic shipping, easy customer service, a straightforward warranty and someone in the United States to deal with if your expensive new toy stops working.
Ordering directly from the manufacturer gives you something else: A very large price difference.
Choose accordingly.

What Ordering From Alibaba Is Actually Like
This is not Amazon. You aren’t going to click Add to Cart, enter your credit card and have a mask on your doorstep two days later.
To order, use the Chat button on the Alibaba listing to contact Shenzhen Idea Light. A sales representative will confirm which model you want, your color choice and shipping method, gather your information and then create the order through Alibaba. You’ll pay using Alibaba’s checkout and order management features.
And no, you don’t need my discount code. There isn’t one. There also isn’t an affiliate link, referral commission or influencer program paying people to tell you about this mask, which may help explain why you don’t see factory-direct options like this recommended nearly as often as the $500+ branded masks.
I’m recommending it because I think it’s a great device at a very good price. That’s it.
What to Tell Your Rep
You’ll need to choose:
- TLM300PRO – LED version
- TLM300PRO-L – laser version
- Color – Black or white
- Shipping – Express or sea freight
The masks are generally built after the order is paid, so allow roughly two weeks for manufacturing.
For shipping, ask your rep to quote both options. Express is international priority shipping: much faster, but considerably more expensive. Sea freight is substantially cheaper, but expect roughly 30 days in transit.
They can also include applicable tariffs in the shipping charge, so ask for the total landed price when you’re comparing options.
The Big Factory-Direct Caveat
I want to be very clear about the downside, because this is part of the bargain. Do not expect a US-style return and warranty experience when you buy directly from a Chinese manufacturer.
In my experience, Idea Light stands behind its products and wants customers to be happy. But logistics are logistics. If something goes wrong, troubleshooting a device through Alibaba messages is very different from dropping a return at UPS. And if a device actually needs to be returned to China, international return shipping may be at your expense and can easily become expensive enough that returning it isn’t worthwhile.
That’s part of the calculation when deciding whether the factory-direct savings are worth it to you.
That’s part of what you’re not paying for when you skip the retail markup.
My Pick
If you have decided you want a good LED mask, I’d choose the TLM300PRO LED. It’s a very capable mask without the retail markup attached to a beauty brand.
If you already own an LED mask or panel and you’re looking for something more interesting, I’d spend the extra money on the TLM300PRO-L laser version. The combination of 665 nm, 850 nm and 1064 nm laser light makes it a much more compelling addition to an existing device collection.
Honestly I would tell you to do what I’ve done: get a small LED panel for normal daily use, but a laser mask for when you want to be mobile or travel, as it’s a great pairing. I own the excellent RLP100PRO desktop LED panel from Shenzhen Idea Light ($167) and I highly recommend it as well. It is my primary LED light therapy device for covering my full face, neck, and decollete all at the same time, with impressive coverage, power, and 9 wavelengths you can customize.
